Welcome to Alison's Sea View Cafe, a delightful gem nestled in the scenic King George VI Park along Victoria Parade, Ramsgate. Despite its name suggesting ocean vistas, this charming family-run cafe offers a homely atmosphere where you can indulge in hearty meals and enjoy the vibrant community around you.

As you step inside, the cafe wraps you in a warm ambiance where the delicious scents of homemade cooking waft through the air. The menu is a treasure trove of comforting classics, with standout items that beckon food lovers to delve into their flavors. Start your day with the exceptional Omelettes—many patrons rave about the best omelette they've ever had. Choose from mouthwatering options like the Cheese Omelette (£5.20) or the hearty Cheese, Mushroom & Bacon Omelette (£6.90), each crafted with love and generous portions.

For those looking for a satisfying lunch, the Hot Food selection is equally enticing. Picture a plate of perfectly golden Chips (£3.20) or a fluffy Chip Butty (£4.00) that simply melts in your mouth. Don't miss out on the Sausage, Egg & Chips (£6.00) or the deeply flavored Chicken Curry & Chips (£6.50)—true comfort food that brings smiles to faces big and small.

Sweet endings are a must at Alison’s, where you can cool down with delightful ice cream treats like the refreshing Oreo Sprinkles Ice Cream Boat (£2.50) or the classic Tub with Flake (£2.50). And if you've got a furry friend, rest assured that your dog can enjoy some special treats as well, making it a truly dog-friendly destination perfect for family outings.

Real customers laud Alison's for its friendly service, cleanliness, and the unbeatable value of the meals compared to other local establishments. Hazel Sutcliffe highlights that there’s “nothing to dislike” about this cafe, and Stuart expresses gratitude for the warm service and the inviting sunshiny seating where he enjoyed a meal with his dog. Matthew O’Callaghan’s experience reflects the consistent quality of food and service that Alison’s proudly upholds, ensuring a joyful stop in any outing.

However, just a heads up—Alison's operates on a cash-only basis, which has led some patrons, like Michele Taft, to wish for card payment options. But, as Saurabh Sood and Victor Kent noted, the food’s quality makes it worth the trip regardless of the payment method.

Overall, Alison's Sea View Cafe is more than just a place to grab a meal; it's a welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike to unwind, recharge, and enjoy delightful fare in a friendly atmosphere. Make your way here, revel in the community vibe, and savor the delicious offerings—they just may become part of your own memorable Ramsgate experience!

Best Omelette I have had, coffee was very average though. Striking off a star because there the cafe name is a misnomer. There is absolutely no sea view. And only cash payment or bank transfer

What's not to like about this great family run cafe in King George VI park...well actually nothing! Unbelievably well priced compared to similar outlets, very clean and superb homely food...best bacon sandwiches going served on proper bread not just your bog standard sliced. I agree also with a previous review indeed the best omelette around...however this is jot a fancy coffee shop so yes coffee pretty standard ...however I'm somewhat perplexed by the previous reviewer downgrading due to "no sea view" (the cafe being named Alisons Sea View) I beg to differ when I stand at the counter and order, turn half way round and hey presto you can see the sea...of course it's not not a complete ocean view it's situated in a park! Getting back to the point in question, this cafe has something for everyone from home made cakes hot cooked food every soft drink imaginable and let's not forget the very generous portions of soft scoop ice cream together with sweets/chocolates/biscuits...but most important of all special doggy sausages and dog proof ice cream...a well run value for money great family business that opens in all weather's right through until middle of November...a dog walker's haven ....which looks after their hoomans too!

Visited as we wanted somewhere for breakfast that was dog friendly. The food was amazing, tea in a proper mug and a seat in the sun. I am so glad we picked here as it was a lovely way to end a break away. My dog really liked making lots of new friends and that they have doggie sausages. Just remember cash. It is cash only.

Very nice little cafe in the park. We didn’t eat but the food of others did look very nice and they said that it was. I’ve only knocked a star off because it’s cash only and I don’t normally carry much cash.

My husband and I went to Alison’s cafe to have breakfast near Ramsgate Clift East and we were so satisfied with the quality and the quantity. The food was amazing, cooked fresh and the place is lovely

I good little stop for us on a late sunny afternoon. We had 2 cappuccino in a good mug. 99 and a tub of ice cream for less than a tenner. Good friendly people around with their dogs. Next time will try coffee and cake ( home made ) for £4.30 Only thing missing is a view over the sea

Excellent food / staff and service. A very dog friendly place. Try their milk shakes. June 30th 2024. Went for a cuppa tea and Wanted the famous bread pudding but had sold out. ALISON had a slice of her fruitcake delicious will definitely have another slice !! Apparently bread pudding is so popular that you have to pre-book a portion!! Can’t Wait to try it .
